Day 1: Flight from Athens to Bali
Afternoon flight via Shanghai to the Island of the Gods, exotic Bali.
Day 2: Bali
Arrival & meeting with the local tour guide. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Free time to relax or take your first dip in the Indian Ocean. In the evening, you can visit the Bali Collection near your hotel, which offers a wide variety of restaurants and shops.
Day 3: Excursion to South Bali – Uluwatu Temple & the cosmopolitan beaches of Kuta & Seminyak
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you’ll discover the best spots in South Bali (12:00 PM–9:00 PM).
• Visit the famous Uluwatu Temple at the southwesternmost point of Bali
• Stop at the cosmopolitan beaches of Kuta and Seminyak, Bali’s shopping and entertainment hub, where you can wander through the narrow streets lined with wonderful shops, cafes, and local restaurants. Enjoy a magnificent sunset from the Potato Head lounge bar and relax with your first Balinese massage.
Return to the hotel.
Day 4 & 5: Bali, Nusa Dua
Breakfast at the hotel and free days to enjoy the hotel facilities and visit some of the beautiful beaches of the Bukit Peninsula, with a variety of water activities available. Suggested full-day activities:
• Visit and swim at the beaches: Melasti, Nyang Nyang, Pandawa, Gunung Payung
• Full-day excursion to the nearby islands of Nusa Penida or Lembongan by ferry
• Visit to the GWK, Safari & Marine Park theme parks or museums in the capital, Denpasar
• Beginner’s surfing lesson at the beaches of Kuta, Seminyak, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu
• Sunset at a beach club in Canggu at Finns or the Ayana Rock Bar in Balangan
• Lobster restaurants on Jumbaran Beach with a stunning sunset
Day 6: Excursion to the best of Ubud (waterfalls, temples & rice fields)
Breakfast and check-out. Departure at 8:30–9:00 AM for the highlands of Ubud, the island’s cultural center. On this full-day excursion, you will see:
• the impressive Tegenungan Waterfall, with time for photos and swimming
• the sacred Tirta Empul Temple, with water from the holiest spring and the option to participate in a purification ritual
• the spectacular Tegelalang rice terraces, where the adventurous can try the Bali swing or flying fox, with panoramic views of the stunning terraces
Continue to your hotel in Ubud. Check-in and dinner.
Day 7: Excursion to North Bali (volcanoes, lakes, jungle, and temples)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure at 8:30–9:00 AM for the volcanic region of North Bali. On this full-day excursion, you will see:
• the beautiful Lake Beratan in the Bedugul area;
• the enchanting Ulun Danu Temple
• a spice and herb garden, where you’ll sample local tea and coffee, and of course the world-famous luwak coffee
• Enchanting landscapes and villages featuring unique Balinese architecture.
Return to the hotel. In the evening, we recommend strolling through the center of Ubud, which offers countless dining and entertainment options.
Day 8: Bali, Ubud
Breakfast and a free day to enjoy the breathtaking nature, colorful villages, mysterious temples, and open-air markets of the Balinese highlands. We recommend:
• Go rafting on the Ayung River (easy descent, ideal for beginners)
• visit the sacred Monkey Forest
• bargain at the open-air market and tour the Royal Palace of Ubud
• Hike the Campuhan Ridge Trail
• Hike Mount Batur for a unique sunrise experience
• Visit the elephant theme park in Taro
• explore the eastern coast with visits to temples (Besakih, Lempuyang, Goa Gajah)
Round off your tours with a rejuvenating Balinese massage and a traditional Nasi Goreng.
Day 9: Bali - flight to Shanghai
Breakfast and check-out. Transfer to the airport to board your direct flight to Shanghai. Arrival and meeting with our local representative. In recent years, the former fishing village has emerged as one of the largest and wealthiest cities in the world, offering countless attractions and local experiences. Transfer to our hotel and check-in.
Day 10: Shanghai, City Tour
Breakfast, followed by a city tour where you will explore its colonial and historic center. You will see:
• the Shanghai Museum of Oriental Art, where you will learn about China’s rich history
• the unique skyline of Pudong and the Bund along the Huangpu River
• the shopping paradise of Nanjing Road
Pudong (Lujiazui) is Shanghai’s upscale financial district and is famous for its futuristic skyscrapers, such as the Shanghai Tower, nightlife, luxurious hotels, and gourmet restaurants and bars. The wider area is adorned with magnificent historic buildings of exceptional architecture and a vibrant commercial atmosphere. Return to the hotel.
Days 11–12: Shanghai, City Tour – Return Flight
Start your morning at a leisurely pace, perhaps with a cup of coffee or a quiet stroll through the city. Breakfast and check-out by 12:00 PM. At noon, a second guided tour follows to explore the city’s cultural and religious character.
• Visit to Yu Garden, a peaceful retreat within the urban landscape.
• Explore the bustling Old City God Temple Market.
• Stroll through Xintiandi, where the blend of old and new Shanghai creates a unique urban atmosphere.
In the evening, you will be transferred to Pudong International Airport to board your direct return flight. Arrival in Greece the following morning, filled with experiences, images, and colors of Asia.
