Visiting

Day 1 | Thessaloniki - Munich - City tour.

Gathering early in the morning at Macedonia airport and direct flight to the Bavarian capital Munich. Arrival, board our bus and immediately and departure for the central square Marienplatz with the old town hall to start our tour. We will admire the imposing new town hall with its 43 bells and the column of the Virgin Mary, with its golden statue. We will continue with St. Peter's Church, the oldest church in Munich. We will cross the Viktualienmarkt, an open edible market with products from all over the world. We will look at St. John Nepomuk Church, one of the most representative examples of baroque architecture and home of the Assam brothers, St. Michael's Church and immediately afterwards at the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary with its distinctive 99-metre high domes! We continue to Promenadeplach and the historic Church of the Saviour (Salvatorkirche) which in 1828 was granted by King Louis I to the Hellenism of the city. Next is Teatinerstrasse (pedestrian street with shops) and Odeonsplatz! We continue on to the Residenstrasse and the square of Maximilian Joseph, the first king of Bavaria, here is the main entrance to the Winter Palace (Residenstrasse) and the neoclassical building of the Munich Opera House. We will continue with Hofbräuhaus, one of Munich's most famous beer halls, which is owned by the Bavarian government, and then we will find ourselves in the house where Mozart in 1780 wrote the opera of Idomeneo. We end the tour at the Marienplatz square where we started. Free time to enjoy your walk through the streets of the city. Then departure and check-in at our hotel. In the evening we recommend a visit to a traditional beer house to taste grilled sausages and beer.

Day 2 | Munich - Nuremberg - Munich.

Breakfast and depart for beautiful Nuremberg. Arrival and we begin our tour of the city that linked its name to Germany's modern history and is home to Renaissance painter Albrecht Dürer. During our tour of the city with its impressive historic centre, crossed by the River Regnitz, with its medieval buildings and fortifications surrounding it, we will see the building that housed the Allied Court of Justice during World War II, the main square, the Town Hall and the impressive Cathedral. The Ostermarkt is the first major summer market, and has a long tradition. On its approximately 80 stalls you will be able to find souvenirs, ceramics, wooden household items, books, textiles, & traditional German sweets, wine & of course plenty of beer & sausages. Free time and later departure for Munich.

Day 3 | Munich - Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Innsbruck.

Breakfast and then depart for Garmisch Partenkirchen, the two villages that were united in 1935 for the needs of the 1936 Winter Olympic Games and are a popular resort thanks to their excellent location at the foot of the highest peak of the German Alps, Zugspitze, at an altitude of 2,964 metres. Today, Garmisch has the image of a sophisticated ski destination with casinos and luxury hotels, while Partenkirchen remains an idyllic alpine village, with frescoed houses and cobbled streets. The centre of Garmisch is beautiful with houses, old and new, as well as inns, painted with wonderful bucolic and biblical scenes. Ornaments, handicrafts, knitwear, woolen hats, amber creations and local gastronomy products. Free time and departure for the jewel city of the Habsburgs, Innsbruck. We will start our tour of the city that experienced glory days during the Habsburg rule and especially during the reign of Maria Theresa. We will see the Golden Roof, the central avenue Maria Theresienstraße, the Cathedral of St. James, the Hofburg Palace, the Mausoleum of Maximilian and the Arc de Triomphe. We will visit the so-called "RomantischenStrasse" (Romantic Road). Then free time in the historic centre for lunch and coffee. Then we will depart for Munich.

Breakfast and then we will depart for beautiful Strasbourg. Our first point of interest will be the European Parliament building, the Palace of Europe as it is called, and the building that houses the Court of Human Rights. Our next stop will be the central square of Clebert, which is part of the Grand Isle and the liveliest part of the city. We continue with the Cathedral, which began construction in 1176 and was completed in 1439 after many modifications. The church dedicated to the Virgin Mary is one of the most characteristic examples of Gothic architecture and thanks to its 142 imposing meters it is considered one of the tallest buildings in the world. The interior is dominated by the astronomical clock that fascinates the visitor as it is also considered one of the largest of its kind. Our tour will end in the most beautiful corner of the old city, a beautiful neighborhood called "Petite France", meaning Little France. There we will wander through its narrow cobbled streets, take photos against the backdrop of the ornate bridges over the canals of the river Il. We will then depart for our hotel. Check-in.

Day 5 | Strasbourg - Auburnay - Wine Route (Colmar - Rikvir - Egisheim).

Breakfast and then we will depart for the beautiful town of Obernai, built at the foot of the Bosgian Mountains, which according to legend is the birthplace of Saint Odile (patron saint of Alsace). The town is famous for its particularly beautiful house facades, we will admire the Gothic church, the town hall from the 16th century and then we will have free time. We continue to the village of Rikvir. Surrounded by ramparts, the village has survived wars and has remained intact. See the tiny streets, fortified walls and 16th century houses, admiring the architectural harmony. You will have free time to explore the town and have lunch. After lunch you will follow the scenic Alsace Wine Route. The Rikvir Located between the Rhine Valley and the Vosges Mountains, the 60-year route winds through hilly slopes for over 170km. A popular tourist destination mainly for the architecture of the 16th century buildings, which seem intact, and the surrounding walls. We will then depart for French Colmar, the jewel of Alsace located on the ''wine route'' and famous for them. Tour its historic centre characterised by traditional houses built on the banks of the river Loach. You will admire the town hall, the cathedral dedicated to St. Martin, as well as small beautiful squares with interesting open-air markets. We will have free time in the most beautiful part of the Old Town, Little Venice, characterized by canals, ornate bridges, classy cafes and gourmet restaurants. We will then depart for the picturesque village of Egisheim in north-eastern France, where words never seem enough to describe its beauty. It is set around an 8th century fortress and has changed little over the last five centuries. The village was first fortified in 1257 and in the 16th century narrow stone alleys were constructed in circles, giving Egisheim a unique character. The climate of the area is ideal for viticulture. So most of its inhabitants are wine growers their houses are used as cellars and shops where the numerous tourists can taste or buy their wine. Back to our hotel.

Breakfast and departure for picturesque Heidelberg, the city that looks like something out of a medieval Grimm brothers' fairy tale. We will visit the Schloss Castle, on the hillside of the Koenigsstuhl, to see the Witch Tower, the "student prisons" and the world's largest wine barrel! Our walk continues to the Old Town with its cafes, baroque buildings and winding cobbled streets, full of the students who bring this city to life. Next is the "Philosophers' Way" (Philosophenweg), a lovely path that starts in the city and crosses the Karl-Theodor Bridge to the opposite bank of the river, from where the view of the city, the river and the castle is breathtaking. Free time for lunch and coffee in the city's pedestrian zone. Afterwards, those who wish can take a two-hour cruise to enjoy the stunning views of the castle and the picturesque yet beautiful buildings on both banks of the river. Late afternoon return to our hotel.

Day 7 | Strasbourg - Baden Baden - Stuttgart - Return flight.

Breakfast and we depart for Baden - Baden is rumoured to be called by two names because of its beauty. It is located in Germany and is built in Baroque style. A green city with large parks which is also famous for its thermal baths, which have been preserved from Roman times. You will visit the Casino to admire the magnificent building in which it is housed. Free time and then we will depart for Stuttgart for the return flight.
