Zanzibar & Safari, 9 days

Early morning flight (02.05) to the tropical paradise of Zanzibar via a stopover. JAMBO – KARIBU! Arrival at Stone Town airport. Transfer to our hotel and settling in the rooms. The afternoon is free for rest and getting to know the capital of the island.

Breakfast and guided tour of Stone Town with its rich history, buildings of different architectural and cultural influences, cobbled streets and carved balconies. On the tour you will visit the Cathedral, the slave market, the Sultan's palace, the old Arab fort, the fruit and vegetable market, the Forodani park and you will pass through the narrow streets famous for the ornate wooden doors, part of the UNESCO world heritage . At noon return to our hotel and free time.

Optional activities:

• Visit a spice garden to learn more about the magical world of herbs
• Meet the infamous Prison Island, formerly used as a quarantine island and slave prison. Today it is a tourist destination with an excellent beach, where you will be able to see the Aldabra giant tortoises
• Discover the enchanting beaches and seabed of Nakupenda Island

Breakfast. Pick up from the hotel at noon and transfer to the airport for the flight to Saadani National Park. Arrival and transfer to Safari Lodge. This is followed by an afternoon wildlife safari with a magnificent conclusion with a bush sundowner, specially designed to enjoy sunset in the African nature. Dinner at Safari Lodge

Morning safari. After breakfast there is a river safari or wildlife safari and return to the accommodation for lunch. Final moments of relaxation at the lodge facilities on the shores of the Indian Ocean before transferring to the airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar. Road transport to your beach hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Some suggested activities you can do on your free days are:

• For snorkeling and scuba diving enthusiasts, the island offers over 30 points of interest where you can enjoy magnificent corals and unique fauna such as stingrays, turtles and whale sharks. The top spot for underwater viewing is Mnemba Atoll, northeast of Zanzibar. Choose the optional excursion to be enchanted by the exotic beauty of the island
• For kitesurf lovers, the east coast of the island is a true paradise. Alternatively, we suggest you visit the Jozani National Park, which is famous for the endemic Columbus monkey species. You will admire impressive trees and plants, and you will discover the magical world of the long-lived vegetation of the island, crossing the wooden path. The tour also includes a visit to the Zanzibar Butterfly Center where you will see different species up close and learn about their unique life cycle.
• Day water adventure to discover some of Zanzibar's best beaches. The cruise departs from the Southeast coast and is carried out on traditional wooden dhow boats. With them you will go to three different places of unique natural and underwater beauty of Zanzibar. Along the way we hope to have the company of dolphins, which are often seen in the Menai Bay Shallow Water Park. You will have time to dive with masks and fins in the crystal clear waters and enjoy the world of corals. On the secluded island of Kwale, you will dine on local and seafood delicacies, before returning back to the main island and your hotel

Breakfast and free day for one last dip in the Indian ocean and for your last purchases. In the early afternoon you will be transferred to the island's airport to board your return flight via a stopover. Arrival in Athens in the early morning of the 8th day
